Hey guys, I got around to putting up pages 1-3 of "Amateur Ghost Hunter" featuring my original character, Ferguson.

Ferguson is a teenage Ghost Hunter, fascinated with the Paranormal and Mysterious since he was young. But his enthusiasm far outweighs his skills, unfortunately! Ghosts don't exactly take you seriously when you try to catch them with a butterfly net and home-made equipment! It's not looking like eccentric young Ferguson will get his research grant, afterall...

Until...

Everything changes for Ferguson one night, when he encounters a Ghost he never expected to meet: One with feelings. For him! Can Ferguson capture a Ghost and get the research funding he's always dreamed of? Will he ever figure out the trick to ghost hunting? Will the petite Witch Millie EVER accept him as a colleague?! And just why is Ferguson so afraid of cars? Read and find out!

I'll soon switch to black and white inks with tone rather than the inkwash pilot chapter pages. You can check out pages 1-3 in the Gallery Section~

From time to time I draw without laying down pencil first, just to practice. Often it comes out pretty sketchy but I think it's fun. XD Good old Fujiko at the top, Chloe the Ghost and Amateur Ghost Hunter down below, lol. I'm thinking the sketch of those two has to become a splashpage sometime.

...come to think of it, I never did scan in my Amateur Ghost Hunter comic, did I? I'll have to do that...

Just playing with some concepts for Chloe. I think I may go more "serious" on her design than this.

I liked the face sketch better so I went ahead and inked it right over the pencil.

An actual scan of my Mermaid design. I inked this using nib pen and the dry-brush method.

A watercolor painting for my mom's birthday... but I figure I may be able to use it in a portfolio sometime to at least show that I can use watercolor/traditional techniques in addition to computer coloring, markers, colored pencil, screentones, etc.

Holy crap, I have to update my Gallery and get all of the thumbnails set up! >8D

Character Design

Nothing much today, but here is a character design from a few weeks ago. I'm currently working on my "Amateur Ghost Hunter" character designs.

I've added some older drawings to the Gallery, under "Paintings...etc."
Coming soon: Life Drawing Studies and Portraits, Additional Comic Pages, and, all at once- the fanart! (That will take a while to round up all of it, but it should be worth it! :)

I've also added my RESUME to the Contact section.

And, if you are curious, I've put up some personal info in the About section.

I may put up some additional sections to this site entirely, particularly Cosplay and Commissions, just to make the navigation easier.
